NASCAR fans enjoyed a weekend of fun and thrilling finishes at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) with the CARFAX 250 Nationwide Series and CARFAX 400 Sprint Cup Series races.
Carfax teamed up with MIS and The Conservation Fund for the third straight year to offset carbon emissions generated from the race. This included energy use at the venue, fan travel and lodging, emissions from the race cars and other aspects of the events. To create a positive impact for the environment, 4,000 trees were planted at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge in southeastern Missouri. Carfax was founded in Columbia, Missouri and still maintains its data center there.
Both races were broadcast on ESPN
